Central Street

Originally built in 1898, it was called "Chinese Street". The street is rich in history and famous for different shapes of architectures along the two sides. Central Street is 1.450 meters in length and 21.34 meters in width of which 10.8 meters is motor way .It is said that the built-in square stones are very precious.

According to the statistics, there are many types of buildings on both sides of the street. All the buildings form scenic spots of architectural arts in the street and reflect the combination of different cultures in late nineteenth century and early twentieth century. The street is really an architectural art gallery. It was designated as a preserved street in 1986 and a pedestrian street in 1996. Now it is a good place for strolling relaxing and shopping.

The SunIsland

The scenery in the garden is composed of artificial lakes and artificial hills. There are 5 inter-linked lakes around the SunLake. On the lake are SisterBridge, PavilionBridge, and WhiteJadeBridge. The elegant willows, the picturesque pavilions and bridges as well as their reflections in the water have constituted most beautiful scenery.

There is a three-layer waterfall built in the Sun Hill. The crystal clear water curtain hangs down and its sound can be heard from afar. This scenery is the Clear Spring and Flying Waterfall.

ManchurianTigerGarden

The park, covering an area of 1.2 million square miles, is located on the northern bank of the SonghuaRiver. It is the largest wild natural park in the world for the northeast tiger. A special tour car allows you to linger through groups of tigers and appreciate the adventurous and exciting scene. The biggest group of Northeast Tigers of China are raised and trained here.The rare and precious Northeast Tigers belong to the State's 1st Class important protected animal, its quantity is quite limited in China.

 

St. Sofia Church

St. Sofia Church is the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East. Built in March 1907, it used to be a church affiliated to the Russian army. With the increase of the believers, the rebuilding work started in September 1923 and completed in 1932. 53.35 meters high and covering an area of 721 square meters, the church looks elegant and splendid.
